Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the SATTT Dhamma Audio Platform collects, uses, retains, and deletes your information when you use our web or mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide personalized features of the Service. Depending on how you sign in, this may include:

  • Your name and email address
  • Profile picture (if available and you grant permission through Google or Apple sign-in)
  • Account preferences, playlists, liked tracks, and listening history associated with your account

You may use many features of the Service without creating an account. When you are not signed in, we do not collect or store personal account information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to operate and improve the Service, including to:

  • Authenticate your account and sync your library across devices
  • Save your playlists, liked tracks, and recently played content
  • Provide support and respond to your requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. The SATTT Dhamma Audio Platform is a non-profit, free service and does not generate revenue from user data.

3. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service to you.

  • Active accounts: Account data (such as your name, email, playlists, and liked tracks) is stored securely in our cloud database while your account remains active.
  • Inactive accounts: If you stop using the Service but do not delete your account, your data remains stored until you request deletion or delete your account.
  • After deletion: When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed from our systems. Any remaining backups are purged within 30 days.
  • Anonymous usage: We do not retain personally identifiable information for users who browse the Service without signing in.

4. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time. We provide the following ways to delete your account and associated data:

4.1 Delete Your Account In the App

  1. Sign in to your account on the web or mobile app
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Under Account Info, select Delete Account
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Once confirmed, your account and all associated personal data (including playlists, liked tracks, and profile information) will be permanently deleted from our servers.

4.2 Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to access your account, you may submit a data deletion request by emailing us at sattt.panglong@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process verified requests within 30 days.

4.3 Revoke Third-Party Access

If you signed in with Google or Apple, you may also revoke our access to your account information at any time through your Google or Apple account settings. Revoking access will prevent future sign-in but may not delete data already stored on our servers; use the in-app deletion option or email request above to fully remove your data.

5. Third-Party Authentication

When you sign in using Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information as permitted by your authentication provider. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple account password. Your use of third-party sign-in is also subject to the privacy policies of those providers.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date below. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
